Is Deltis real? Beware of Deltis!

While looking for a new CPM ad network for my website, I came across a company called Deltis. Deltis seems to be offering some huge CPM rates for U.S. and Canada traffic. $1.00 for banners and $5.00 for pop unders. These numbers seem really high so I started my investigation online.

I found a lot of forums in which somone listed asking if anyone used Deltis. No one seems to have used them sucessfully.

If we take a look at the site about a year ago, it was a search engine.

A reverse ip look up of their website yields these results:
6 Results for: 82.165.184.154 (www.deltis.com)
Website
www.4meta.com
www.deltis.com
www.nocatchringtones.com
www.publisherpartner.com
www.segwayads.com
www.vistabanners.com

It seems that $1.00 CPM and $5.00 CPM advertising payouts are just a dream.

How import is your position on a search engine?

Here is an interesting report on search engines golden triangle.

The article states:
" The key location on Google for visibility as determined by the eye activity in the study is a triangle that extends from the top of the results over to the top of the first result, then down to a point on the left side at the bottom of the "above the fold" visible results. This key area was looked at by 100 percent of the participants. In the study, this was referred to as the "Golden Triangle". "

Value Click - Best Advertising Network?

I'ts been about six months since ValueClickMedia.com took over FastClick.com.

The number of campaigns in the network seem to have increased and my fill rate has also improved. I'm also glad that Value Click decided to keep the Fast Click backend system. So if you can get into ValueClickMedia.com ad network it will be well worth it.

What does CPM mean?

What does CPM mean?

CPM is the abbreviation for Cost Per Thousand. The letter "M" is the abreviation for the Roman numeral one thousand. CPM is the term used for online internet advertising, it's one way to charge or be charged for banner ads. Website will usually set a CPM rate and guarantee a certain number of impressions (the number of times a banner ad is dispalyed and presumed to be seen by a visitor). A Web site that has a CPM rate of $5 and guarantees advertisers 600,000 impressions will charge $3,000 ($5 x 600) for those advertisers' ad banner.
